Ashford has always been willing to carry out works overseas.  In 2007 we have had engineers on secondment in Dubai and Trinidad and Tobago.  Earlier projects included a roll out programme of switch sites across Europe for Colt Telecom.  Ashford successfully completed four of these in London, Paris, Madrid and Frankfurt.

 

The largest overseas commitment was Paris Switch where Ashford undertook the commissioning and water treatment on behalf of Global Switch Communications.  The converted BIC Pen factory has seven roof mounted closed circuit evaporative coolers capable of rejecting 20 MW of heat.  Ashford also undertook post contract fit out works for Level 3 Communications.
