The internet and technology boom of the nineties led to a proliferation of switch sites and disaster recovery suites throughout the country.  Ashford carried out its first disaster recovery suite in early 1998.  The £1M 2nd floor fit-out at Anchorage House in London’s East India Dock for Safety Net PLC was closely followed by Global Switch, the £50M conversion of the old BIC pen factory in Clichy just outside Paris.

The recent resurgence in this sector has seen Ashford increase its experience in this field ten fold with successful projects for Credit Suisse at Slough and Docklands, Morgan Stanley at Heathrow and Croydon, Barclays Capital Northolt, JP Morgan Chase Basingstoke, Merrill Lynch Camberley and UBS Hayes.
