Today our BPS Phase 2 team were invited to the grand opening of the iconic Battersea Power Station, which opened its doors to the public today for the first time in history!

The restoration of this iconic building which was decommissioned in

1983 (and left derelict for 30+ years) started nearly a decade ago and has become the largest restoration project in Europe! Ashford are proud to have been a part of making this building work over the last 3.5 years - running the Commissioning, Water Treatment and Public Health element on Phase 2, 3a and 3b.

The first picture below is of our directors Tony Kennedy and Jim Rees signing the contract for our works on the project back in early 2019… and here they are today celebrating with our project managers and some of the engineers, who after a few finishing touches will successfully execute project completion in December 2022.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all involved in making this project a success and thank all our staff for all their hard work over the past 3 and a half years. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! What a team! 🏆
