Pete Richards has recently been appointed as our in-house Health and Safety Representative. He will be undergoing training to obtain formal
qualifications with the aim of taking over all H & S matters for the Company.
Ashford FC narrowly missed out on another amazing win over one of our clients!
On the 19th November Paul Ribbens attended an open first aid course run by HOLOS Healthcare & Training, in order to evaluate the company as a potential provider for First Aid training for Ashford employees. This is what Paul had to say about the course:

Ashford have just completed this project on behalf of MJL. What started out, in theory to be an easy job with 17 floors of identical systems, somehow got turned on its head. From design stage to install, they had selected the incorrect size CV dampers, meaning that none of them were pre-set to within their design scale.

Why did we do this?
There are a number of reasons why, employers undertake satisfaction surveys, but for Ashford the reasons were:
On 25th June Tony and Roger represented Ashford at MJ Lonsdale's 21st Birthday party at Madam Tussards. Established in 1986 Lonsdale is now recognized as one of the leading services contractors throughout the UK, boasting a £140 million turnover. This privately owned business has continued to grow, both in turnover and geographical spread. This year the Lonsdale Group has been voted company of the year within the HVAC industry.
With the inception of the newsletter I thought it would be a good idea to publish the Company’s business plan.
On the evening of the April 17th, Ashford Environmental Services took on NG Bailey at Selhurst Park, the home of Crystal Palace Football Club. The fourth meeting of the two companies failed to live up to expectations as Ashford romped home 10-1. The current cup holders never really got out of the blocks as Ashford’s young guns racked up goal after goal. Baileys did manage a consolation goal late in the second half but this failed to lift their spirits. The onslaught continued and I think all were relieved to hear the final whistle.
