Why did we do this?

There are a number of reasons why, employers undertake satisfaction surveys, but for Ashford the reasons were:

  • To show senior management where we may need to manage better.
  • To reassure employees that their views are being listened to.
  • To find out if employees feel that Ashford is delivering the “deal”
  • To demonstrate the links between employee motivation, satisfaction and commitment and their impact on business performance.

What will we do with what you told us?

Based on the results and comments, Ashford will:

  • Undertake annual employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Implement an annual appraisal programme linked in with Company structure, career progression, individual performance and salary reviews.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement people management training
  • Implement an employee suggestion scheme.
  • Engage & communicate with employees

So what did we find?

Ashford is respected & valued by both clients and employees. Employees feel they are given responsibility for their own work, they are provided with development opportunities and that their efforts are rewarded fairly.

There is a lot of pride in and enjoyment from working for Ashford. Employees generally feel well managed.
