On the 10th November, this years BSRIA Briefing took place at its adopted home, The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.  The theme was "The Future of Renewables" and the event was a sell out.  Guest speakers included Dr. Robert Kirby-Harris, Chief Executive of the Institute of Physics and The Rt Hon John Gummer MP.

Having attended for a number of years at the kind invitation of BSRIA Instrument Solutions, this year Ashford decided to invite their own guests.  After an informative morning, a fine lunch was rounded off by guest speaker Lieutenant-Colonel Dick Strawbridge MBE, British Engineer and television presenter.

As part of an ongoing campaign to raise awareness of the importance of commissioning in respect of energy conservation and efficiency, Ashford took advantage of the large and diverse audience with an exhibition stand in the King George Room.
