They completed the 5k run in an impressive 40 minutes, despite the hot muggy weather. Sharon raised well over her target of £500.00—with total donations adding up to nearly £700!

Kempton Park was full of thousands of volunteers who took time out to join the race for life, which also saw ‘Zainab Masood’ (Nina Wadia) from Eastenders plodding along too!

As well as the numerous runners, there was entertainment, warm-up exercises by Virgin active gym, a ‘donation station’ for dropping off unwanted goods to be sold in the Cancer Research shops and refreshments for all who attended the day.
