The day was organised by Jason Conner with all proceeds going to Tommy's charity. We were kindly invited to put a team together for the day by George Cattini of Michael J Lonsdale.

Ashford also sponsored one of the holes for the day. Although our team of Tony Kennedy, Andy Lawless, Dave Hehir (N G Bailey) and yours truly did not disgrace ourselves we did not come anywhere near any prizes. However, more proceeds were added to the fundraising event by Mr Kennedy, again being one of the largest bidders at the evening auction.

A good day and night was had by all, but most importantly a significant amount was raised to support Tommy's Charity—giving babies the best chance of being born healthy.

One in four women will lose their baby during pregnancy or birth. Tommy’s (after St Thomas’ Hospital) is a charity that funds research into pregnancy problems and provides information and support to parents.
